Job Description: PSA Studios is seeking a full-time, skilled architect or architectural designer who is familiar with all phases of the design process. Candidates should be enthusiastic, self-motivated and have strong organizational, technical and creative abilities. Our firm offers opportunities for long-term professional growth in all aspects of design, detailing and construction administration on a range of residential, institutional & commercial projects between New York City and the Hudson Valley. Our studio is based in Germantown, NY although remote work is available. Our team of designers come from diverse backgrounds and live between Vermont, Brooklyn and Upstate New York. The position will require being involved in all phases of project development including design, technical development & drawing production, 3D modeling & rendering, presentation graphics and project administration/management.

Primary Responsibilities: Prepare full drawing sets for schematic design, bidding, permitting and construction. Develop graphics, schedules, reports, renderings and other presentation materials. Interface & collaborate with clients, consultants & internal design team. Research and collate NYS building codes, specifications and materials. Candidates should have between 1-5 years of experience and show the following expertise:

Skills: Proficiency in CAD drafting (Vectorworks, AutoCAD, etc.) 3D Modeling (BIM a plus), Adobe Photoshop (In Design, Illustrator & Creative Suite a plus)
